The Islamic Center of Little Rock was established in 1992 to fulfill the Muslim Community’s religious, educational, social, and cultural needs. The active members of the community at that time purchased the current locations, initially an old house and expanded it by buying adjacent houses.
Alhumdulillah, constructions of the present site started in May of 1994 and was completed in January 1996. Later on,the property across from our new Masjid was purchased and a new building for an Islamic school under the name of The Huda Academy was established.
The Islamic Center of Little Rock consists of a Masjid (Arabic for “place of prostration”), The Huda Academy Islamic school, and affiliate programs such as the Weekend Islamic School.
